New Year 2023

After a nice Christmas, albeit Aniello was in a lot of pain with kidney stones, and Allan was very poorly with a bad chest infection, New Year's Eve was spent quietly at home, just the two of us. New Year's day we went to church, then served the refreshments in the church hall after mass.

Mario came with the children and later on we met Andy, Vicky and Jordon at the tower headland to have a go on the Star Flyer. I'd been meaning to go on since it first came to Blackpool for the Christmas Village but just never seemed to find the time. It was raining when we got on, and it felt like we were being pelted with hailstones in our faces. Very painful but what fun! I definitely will be going on it again if it comes again this Christmas. It'll have to be a nice, calm sunny day though.

Today 2nd of January has been spent taking most of our decorations down. I've left the tree up until Epiphany (6th)
