I've just been researching lenses for my Nikon and have come to the conclusion it's going to cost me at least £300 for a good one. Just been studying aperture/shutter speed/iso settings but nothing stays in my noggin long enough for it all to make any sense. Old age is not a good thing! One thing I have learnt though is that I need one with a large aperture if I want to take great bokeh.

This is one I took last Christmas. I'm going to do this next Christmas but with Christmas tree shapes.
I've had a great couple of weeks with nice things happening. Went to the Lakes 2 week-ends in a row. Had a couple of trips to the seafront mingling with the holiday makers and on Sunday we went to one of my favourite places....Brock Bottom. Then we went up to Beacon Fell for an ice cream.
